ROUTE #1:
The Forest Park 4-Mile Run
DESCRIPTION: Start at Woodhaven Blvd & run north into Forest Park
Drive. Cross Metropolitan Avenue and continue running north until
exiting park at Park Lane. Cross Park Lane, and run on sidewalk
along Union Turnpike. Make right at Kew Gardens Road (Queens
Blvd. runs parallel to it) and then make a quick right turn one
block later onto 80th Road. Run uphill and make left onto Park
Lane. Stay on Park Lane (hugging the park on your right) for
about 1.25 miles and make a right onto Myrtle Avenue. Continue
running on Myrtle and make a left turn onto Woodhaven Blvd.
and run back to the start.
DESCRIPTION: A visually stunning run through the heart of Forest
Hills Gardens however not recommended for night running due
to scarcity of overhead lighting.
Starting from the same location as the first two routes, this run will
have you enter Forest Hills Gardens. Once you exit the park onto
Park Lane, turn left to cross over Union Turnpike and enter Forest
Hills Gardens via Markwood Road. Follow Markwood until it
becomes the Greenway. Continue on Greenway until looping
counter-clock around the Middlemay Circle. Continue until
getting to Greenway Terrace South and head back until
arriving at Short Hill road. Turn left on Short Hill . Short Hill
becomes Good Wood, continue on it, turning right onto
Markview Terrace, and exit through the entrance for which you
entered the Gardens and reverse back to the start.
ROUTE #2:
The Forest Park 6-Mile Run
DESCRIPTION: This is essentially the
same as Route #1 but when you
get to Woodhaven & Forest Park
Drive, which would've been the
end of the 4 mile run, you will
actually cross Woodhaven (at the
green light please!) Blvd., and
enter the south side of the park.
Run along till Forest Park Drive
forces you left or right. You can go
either way, though most run just a
little past the Oak Ridge House and
back.

Forest Park 2 Mile Add On
Distance: 2 Miles
DESCRIPTION: Starting right
across from where we
meet/finish on the 4 mile run on
Woodhaven, this adds to the
mileage to complete what now
would be a 6 mile run.
