About the Forest Park Runners Club
	Our organization, based in the Forest Park/Woodhaven area of Queens County, New York, has been in existence since 1980. In addition to being active in community affairs, we have held annual race events for several years as a way of raising funds for research in combating disease. Through such races, we have been able to raise over $15,500.00 for Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center to fight childhood disease.
