We are a Queens based running club that has been in existence for twenty-eight years. Sat/Sun/holiday mornings at 8 am and Wednesdays at 6:45 pm at Forest Park Drive and Woodhaven Boulevard (rain or shine!), near the park house. Our morning runs routinely are 4-8 mile runs in the Forest Park Neighborhood, while the Wednesday runs are training runs. Walkers are also welcome. Our membership fee is $20 for new members (includes team cap), $10 annually for renewals and half price for seniors (65+). Each year we host a spring race of 4 miles and a summer series of races at 1 mile. We donate part of the proceeds to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in order to further the causes of cancer research and cures. Over the years, we have donated more than $21,200 with the help of local merchants such as Grimaldis Home of Bread, McDonalds of Glendale, Ridgewood Savings Bank and Karl Ehmer. from Juma Ikangaa...
