Tip: Recent studies show that 2-4 hours/week of brisk walking can significantly lower risk of heart disease, stroke, diabetes, or high blood pressure. More intense activity (like running) or longer duration promotes weight loss.

We are a Queens based running club that has been in existence for twenty-five years. We meet every month in the Parks Department clubhouse located at Forest Park Drive and Woodhaven Boulevard . Each year we have a spring race as part of the Queens Grand Prix Series. We donate part of the proceeds to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in order to further the causes of cancer research and cures. Over the years, we have donated more than $17,500 for this worthy cause with the help of local merchants such as Grimaldis Home of Bread, McDonalds of Glendale, Ridgewood Savings Bank and Karl Ehmer.
